Chapman Tripp – Maritime Tower

  • Division: Interiors
  • Location: Wellington
  • Started: June 2006
  • Cost: $2.4 million
  • Client: Chapman Tripp
  • Completed: January 2007

Fit-out over levels 12 to 17 of the Fletcher-built Maritime Tower to accommodate law firm Chapman Tripp.

The four floors of office space house a commercial kitchen, meeting rooms, AV rooms, seminar rooms, one large function room and partitioned offices.

Finishes include Victoria Ash stained timber panelling, fabric wall linings of different colours in the meeting rooms, and imported stoned tile floors to the reception floor. A state of the art sound system was installed, along with projector screens and plasma TV systems. Ceilings are perforated plasterboard panels with recessed strip lighting that highlights the Chapman Tripp art collection. The reception on level 17 features Glass Reinforced Concrete panels which run the entire width of the building and have vertical lights hidden in recesses that change colour.
