Construction of the base building, fitout of the cardiac investigation unit on level one and complete fitout of levels three and four comprising some 119 beds of the 240-bed six-level L-shaped facility.

Designed with patients in mind, the bedrooms maximise natural light and there are a greater number of single rooms along with internal bathrooms in each room than in the 'existing' hospital.
