Australian High Commission Chancery Extensions

  • Division: South Pacific
  • Location: Solomon Islands
  • Started: January 2007
  • Cost: SBD $7.1 million
  • Client: Australian Government
  • Completed: August 2007

Two-level office extension and refurbishment of the Australian High Commission Chancery in Honiara, Solomon Islands.

The existing Fletcher-built High Commission building received structural reinforcement, a new roof, and refit.

A challenging project due to a very confined working site, access difficulties, and the Chancery remaining fully operational during construction with very strict security requirements.
