AMI Stadium – East Stand

  • Division: Building
  • Location: Christchurch
  • Started: June 2008
  • Cost: $44.5 million
  • Client: VBase
  • Completed: December 2009

A proven Fletcher team returns to Christchurch's major sporting venue AMI Stadium (previously known as Jade Stadium, and in less commercial times, Lancaster Park), to deliver the East Stand redevelopment.

Construction of the new 14,700 seat, four-level East Stand follows the successful performance of the $31 million West Stand project back in 2002 (and the original Lancaster Park stand).

The new stand will be known as Dean's Stand in recognition of one of Canterbury's foremost rugby families.
