Construction of four new buildings at Manukau Hospital.

The first of the new buildings completed in 2008 accommodates the Renal Unit to cater for in-centre and assisted care dialysis patients. It houses 28 dialysis stations which will initially operate for two shifts per day, six days a week. The second and third buildings accommodate a new conference centre and staff café, as well as the Ophthalmology (eye) Outpatient Department respectively. The last remaining building links these units to the existing hospital.
