Albany Lakes

PipeWorks installed new polyethylene sewer lines and 11 sulphur-resistant manholes at Albany Lakes.

The site location provided challenges, featuring six road crossings and being heavily congested with existing services. In particular, a Vector substation north of the project was situated very close to works so a design change was initiated to overcome the restrictions in this area. A range of different drilling techniques were used to deal with variable onsite conditions.
