Leadership Code Commission and Ombudsman’s Office

  • Location: Solomon Islands
  • Started: May 2009
  • Cost: NZ $2 million
  • Client: RAMSI
  • Completed: Under Construction

Refurbishment of existing and additional offices and amenities.

The project involves stripping the original buildings right back to their concrete structure before being rebuilt.

One interesting feature of the project will be the use of the Ritek roofing system – an insulated panel system which is prefinished with external roof cladding on the outer side and with internal ceilings on the other. It is also largely self-supporting which reduces the structural support requirements and confirms it as a rational and cost effective materials choice.
