Devoted to the faith
This 21m-high single-spire Temple with two ordinance and two sealing rooms on a 19330m² site was a very high quality project, built to international standards.
The South Pacific division has built many facilities for the Latter-Day Saints Church, from small churches to major temples. Fitout included chandeliers, furniture, lockers, toilet partitions, hardware, baptismal font, angel, theatre seats, drapery and floor coverings specified from the United States. Ceramic and marble tiles were installed by Fletcher Construction and local contractors.
Wall covering & painted finishes were carried out by nominated subcontractors from Salt Lake City. Joinery units & doors were manufactured, finished & installed by local Fijian companies. Air handling incorporates seven split systems with building management system (BMS) supplied and installed by a Honeywell LDS team from Salt Lake City. Extensive audio visual system, lighting control system and fire & security alarms. Font filtration system was supplied & installed from Salt Lake City and is monitored from there via the BMS modem.
